Part of the Motorik! takeover
A multi-talented artist, Francis Xavier is based out of Sydney, Australia and has been on the rise as a hard working musician in the underground music scene. Having tried his hand at a number of different related careers including engineering, production, party promotion, label ownership, DJing, creating music and so on, Francis Xavier’s reach within electronic music is encompassing.
If you are a follower of underground music, you might be well aware of Xavier’s contribution as a member of the Electronic Dance Band Infusion that won the celebrated 2X Aria Award recently. With an eclectic mix of highly successful and popular remixes, organic live performances, an Essential mix featured on Radio 1 and a total of three albums in his kitty, Xavier has been quite a busy man for more than a decade now.
He has been travelling the world, having visited a total of thirty countries, and delivered electrifying performances for some celebrated music festivals including Creamfields, Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass, Roskilde, Glastonbury, Exit and Coachella. In addition to this, Xavier has also been touring to some of the most prominent mega clubs around the world, including London’s best known fabric and countless underground clubs in the Japanese Capital, Tokyo. Furthermore, Xavier has also been working on several of his creations around recording studios ranging from London to Los Angeles.
Xavier is currently engaged in his brand new project, ‘The Finger Prince’, for which he plans to set up his personal studio along with Gus Da Hoodrat of Bang Gang fame in Sydney. Additionally, Xavier is also the co-owner of the music label called Motorik, making him hot on the list for this week’s takeover. From Paranoid London to one of his own productions, he picks out four of his favourite warehouse weapons.
